MYANMAR (Burma)—Cyclone devastation has left nearly 2/3 or the 1.5 million population needing help.

As many as 100,000 people may have been killed by Tropical Cyclone Nargis.

Flood waters have made it nearly impossible to find dry land. Food, blankets, safe drinking water, medicines, clothing, and temporary shelter are desperately needed. Pray that aid that is available will be able to get into the country to help these hurting people.

Funds designated for Myanmar will be sent.

CHINA—China was hit by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake. Between 3,000 and 5,000 are known dead in one county alone.

A high school building collapsed and may have buried as many as 900 students in a mudslide. Four students were killed and at least 100 injured when two other schools collapsed.

Only time will tell how many have been killed by this earthquake. Please pray for these precious people as they focus on the injured and those who have lost their lives.

Offerings designated for China will be sent.
